Whether you're just starting to brew your own coffee or you're already a seasoned pro, our beginner's brew guide is designed to make the process easy and enjoyable. No matter which brewing method you prefer, we believe Chuckaboo Coffee is the perfect choice to elevate your coffee experience.
1. Drip Coffee Maker:

Grind size: Medium (similar to sea salt)

Coffee-to-water ratio: 1:15 (e.g., 1 gram of coffee to 15 grams of water)

Water temperature: 195°F to 205°F (90°C to 96°C)

Brew time: 4-5 minutes
2. French Press:

Grind size: Coarse (similar to breadcrumbs)

Coffee-to-water ratio: 1:12 (e.g., 1 gram of coffee to 12 grams of water)

Water temperature: 200°F (93°C)

Brew time: 4 minutes

Steps: Add ground coffee to the French press, pour hot water over the coffee, stir, place the lid on, and let it steep for 4 minutes before pressing down the plunger.
3. Pour Over (e.g., Hario V60, Chemex):

Grind size: Medium-fine (similar to table salt)

Coffee-to-water ratio: 1:16 (e.g., 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water)

Water temperature: 195°F to 205°F (90°C to 96°C)

Brew time: 3-4 minutes

Steps: Place a filter in the dripper, rinse with hot water, add ground coffee, pour hot water in a circular motion, and let it drip through.
4. AeroPress:

Grind size: Medium-fine (similar to table salt)

Coffee-to-water ratio: 1:15 (e.g., 1 gram of coffee to 15 grams of water)

Water temperature: 175°F to 185°F (80°C to 85°C)

Brew time: 1-2 minutes

Steps: Place a filter in the cap and rinse it, add ground coffee to the chamber, pour hot water, stir, place the plunger, and press down slowly.
5. Espresso:

Grind size: Fine (similar to powdered sugar)

Coffee-to-water ratio: 1:2 (e.g., 1 gram of coffee to 2 grams of water)

Water temperature: 190°F to 200°F (88°C to 93°C)

Brew time: 25-30 seconds

Steps: Tamp the ground coffee into the portafilter, lock it in the machine, and start the extraction process.
